---Bud Abbott and Lou Costello have entertained audiences for more than 60 years. Slapstick born frorn the burlesque stage in the mid-1930's, Abbott & Costello's style of comedy has transcended every possible medium – from burlesque, to radio, to films and finally to television. Their partnership lasted a record-breaking 21 years! Today, a new generation is discovering such classics as "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein" and of course, their classic signature skit, "Who's On First!"
---Abbott & Costello began seeing a revival in the late 1980's when Warner Home Video released a collection of restored clips from their "Colgate Comedy Hour" shows. The Abbott & Costello Fan Club began generating even more members from the U.S. and around the world and a product division, headed by Lou's daughter, Chris Costello, was added to promote product demand from members. As more people learned about A&C products being offered through the club, they also assumed that they had to be a member in order to purchase the products being offered. Chris decided to eliminate the confusion by shutting down the club product section in September 2000. In October, it was relaunched as Abbott & Costello Comedy Collectibles, a company she owns and operates.
---Although this site focuses on licensed Abbott & Costello products, Chris has also added other comedy legends to the product pool. All products being offered are licensed and in no way infringe upon the rights of the individual estates.
